Hi everyone! My name is Alexsa Medina, I’m a senior in high school, and I’m organizing an animal shelter donation drive. This donation drive is what I will be using as my Community Service Project for the National Honor Society that I am a member of at my school.
I decided to donate to an animal shelter because I have always been an animal lover. When I found out about this project, I knew exactly what event I’d be organizing. All donations will be given to the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter in Doral, FL.
I will be hosting my event on February 18th & February 19th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm at North Trail park in Miami, FL. If you can make it, please do! I have created an Amazon Registry which has several items which would be of great use to the animal shelter.
If you can’t make it to the actual event the registry has the option to send the items you are donating personally to me by selecting my name as the delivery option.
If you want to take a more affordable route, you can always donate gently used items that you have from your own dogs/cats, as long as these items would be able to be sanitized (For example- Plastic toys, blankets & towels without stains, plastic crates).
